Materials & Coating

The material we use is sourced locally and varies in shades of gray and blue. Each piece will be slightly different, as every sheet of material used is different. When the material is manufactured, there can be small imperfections or scratches that give the material character.

If an industrial finish suits your taste, choosing the "no coat" option will allow the metal characteristics to show through. 

If you would like your piece to rust over time and develop a patina finish, no coating is the way to go! If you would like to see the natural characteristics of mild steel but prevent the piece from rusting, clear coat finish will work great. Clear coat darkens the color of the metal slightly, but otherwise it is transparent. 

If you would like a consistent finish, please select one of the color coatings. The colors which are currently available are: flat black, white, metallic silver, and metallic gold. If you would like to request a specific color, please send us a message!

Custom Orders

We love custom design work and creating something completely unique. However, making something new may require a little more time to complete the design work and discuss ideas with you. As long as that can be worked into your time line, feel free to send us any requests!
